By accessing our website or enrolling in our courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
These terms work in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to govern your relationship with Neuronex. Please review all documents carefully before using our services.
User Obligations and Responsibilities
1. Legal Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules when using our services. This includes but is not limited to:
- Indian Information Technology Act and related cybersecurity regulations
- Intellectual property laws governing educational content and software
- Privacy and data protection regulations applicable in your jurisdiction
- Export control laws if accessing our services from outside India
2. Conduct Requirements
When interacting with our platform, instructors, and other students, you must maintain respectful and professional conduct:
- Treat instructors and fellow students with courtesy and respect
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior
- Participate constructively in class discussions and collaborative projects
- Honor the learning environment and avoid disruptive activities
- Report any concerning behavior to our administrative team promptly
3. Content Guidelines
If you submit content through our platform (questions, projects, feedback), you agree that such content:
- Must be your original work or properly attributed to its source
- Should not violate any third-party intellectual property rights
- Must not contain malicious code, viruses, or harmful elements
- Should be relevant to machine learning education and our courses
- Must not include confidential information from employers or others
4. Academic Integrity
You commit to maintaining academic honesty in all coursework. This includes completing assignments independently unless collaborative work is explicitly permitted, properly citing sources, and not sharing solutions to graded assignments with others. Academic misconduct may result in course dismissal without refund.
5. Age and Capacity
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Liability Limitations and Disclaimers
1. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of course content
- Warranties that services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Warranties regarding specific learning outcomes or career results
2. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Neuronex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which a claim is based.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is less.
3. Consequential Damages Exclusion
We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or other economic losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes losses related to employment decisions, career advancement, or business ventures undertaken based on skills learned in our courses.
4. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet outages, or acts of terrorism. During such events, we may suspend services temporarily or reschedule classes.
5. Third-Party Resources
Our courses may reference or link to third-party tools, libraries, or resources. We make no warranties regarding these external resources and are not responsible for their availability, functionality, accuracy, or any damages arising from their use. You use third-party resources at your own risk.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Neuronex, its instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms, your use of our services, or your violation of any rights of another party.
Additional User Responsibilities
Technology Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate hardware, software, and internet connectivity to participate in our courses. Minimum system requirements will be communicated during enrollment.
Attendance and Participation
Active participation enhances learning outcomes. While we don't mandate perfect attendance, consistent engagement is expected. Excessive absences may affect your learning experience and course completion status.
Communication Responsibilities
You must maintain current contact information and regularly check communications from Neuronex. We are not responsible if you miss important course information due to outdated contact details or failure to check your email.
Backup and Data Security
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your course projects and assignments. While we take measures to protect data, we recommend storing important work on your personal devices or cloud storage.
Legal Information and Dispute Resolution
1. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
2. Dispute Resolution Procedures
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from these terms or your use of our services, the parties agree to follow this resolution process:
- Informal Resolution: Contact us directly to discuss the issue and attempt good-faith resolution within 30 days
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
- Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- Litigation: Only after exhausting the above steps may either party pursue litigation in appropriate courts
3. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
4. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Neuronex regarding your use of our services. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written.
5. Waiver and Amendment
Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future. These terms may only be modified by a written agreement signed by both parties, except that we may update these terms as described in the modification section below.
6. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated through email to enrolled students and prominently displayed on our website.
Modifications become effective 30 days after notification unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may discontinue using our services.
For currently enrolled students, material changes that significantly alter course delivery or access will not apply to their active enrollment without their consent.
